(5月2日)ギリシャ3年支援1100億ユーロ

財政問題によって混乱が続くギリシャに5月2日、欧州各機関が支援を発表している。金利の上昇や格下げなどの市場からの圧力を受け、ギリシャ支援は早期の対応が求められている。欧州委員会のプレスリリースを見ると、4月11日に発表されたユーロ圏加盟国が300億ユーロを拠出すると言うことに加え、後年度の不安を取り除くためにユーロ圏は3年間で合計800億ユーロ、IMFも入れた総額1100ユーロの金融支援を実施すると発表されている。

The euro area Member States are activating the mechanism that will help Greece redress its economy. At a meeting on 2 May in Brussels, the finance ministers of the Eurogroup reached an agreement to launch the three-year financial support package to Greece. This joint programme with the IMF makes 110 billion euro available, with 80 billion euro coming from the euro area countries.(ユーロ圏加盟国はギリシャ経済の改善を手助けするための支援メカニズムを実行する。5月2日のブリュッセル会合で、ユーロ加盟国の財務相はギリシャを3年にわたり支援する金融パッケージの実施合意に達した。このIMFとも共同したプログラムではユーロ圏加盟国の拠出する800億ユーロを含む1100億ユーロが支出される。)

Herman Van Rompuy has convened the heads of state and government of the euro area for a meeting on the evening of 7 May in order to conclude the whole process and draw the first conclusions of the crisis for the governance of the euro area.(ハーマン・ファンロンパイ大統領はユーロ加盟国首脳を5月7日の夕方の会合に召集し、ユーロ圏の統治の危機に対応した最初の結論と全体の工程に対応した決定を行う。)

同日、ECBもこのギリシャ再建計画について歓迎の意を表明している。

ギリシャがどのように救済されるかというスキームや危機対応については、財政問題がその他の国にも広がっている中で、良いケーススタディーになるだろうが、それ以上に市場の恐怖心を抑える良い抑止力になるかどうかが、今後の注目点であろう。
