(4月23日)ギリシャ金融支援要請

エーゲ海のカステロリゾ島を訪問中のギリシャのパパンドレウ首相はこれまで議論されてきたEUやIMFに対するギリシャへの支援要請を発表した。ギリシャ政府は4月20日から交渉を開始しており、5月15日までに合意内容を発表、5月19日の国債償還に照準を合わせていたものの、ギリシャ国債利回りの上昇やギリシャの金融部門へのプレッシャーを受けて、早々に金融支援を行うことになってしまった。前日、ギリシャの2009年の財政赤字が下方修正されたのを受けて、ムーディーズがギリシャの格付けをA2からA3に引き下げたことも、信用リスクに火をつけたようだ。22日、ギリシャのパパンドレウ首相は、危機打開に向け、7時間に及ぶ閣議を開催したが、閣議後の声明発表などはなかった。また、ギリシャではこの日、緊縮財政策に抗議する公務員や学生１万人以上が、議会前を行進した。
ギリシャ財務省が発表した支援に対する文章をみると、ユーロ圏のユンカー議長、欧州連合欧州委員会のレーン委員(経済・通貨問題担当)、トリシェECB総裁に対して、支援要請を行っている。

ユーロ圏でも、ファンロンパイ大統領の声明として、3月25日に合意し、4月11日に詳細が詰められた支援内容について実行することを発表した。

そして「On this basis, Euro area Member States will decide on the amount of support and conditionality.」(これに基づいて、ユーロ圏加盟国は支援額とその条件について決定を行うだろう)と述べており、これから更なる詰めの協議が始まる。ギリシャ問題は方向性が見えたが、道の整備はまだまだということか。
