(1月13日-2)BOE金融政策据え置き

英国中銀が金融政策を発表した。予想通り、政策金利は0.5％に据え置きで、資産購入総額(残高)も2000億￡で据え置き。公表文は、何度も同じ文章が続いている。その一方で、物価はやや高い水準での推移が続いており、実質マイナス金利となっている。英国中銀のインフレ目標は2％である。一部の政策委員はインフレに対して金融引き締めを提案するものも居るようだが、隣国アイルランドの財政危機などを踏まえると、金融緩和を止めることは難しい。

Bank of England Maintains Bank Rate at 0.5% and the Size of the Asset Purchase Programme at £200 Billion

The Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Committee today voted to maintain the official Bank Rate paid on commercial bank reserves at 0.5%. The Committee also voted to maintain the stock of asset purchases financed by the issuance of central bank reserves at ￡200 billion.(イングランド銀行の金融政策委員会は、商業銀行に支払われる公定歩合を0.5％に据え置くことを本日決定した。また、委員会は中央銀行リザーブの発行によってファイナンスされる資産買入残高を2000億ポンドに維持することを決定した。(前回から全く変化無し))
