ニュージーランド準備銀行のアラン・ボラード総裁が利上げ継続に言及していたので、それを残す。発言の一部は以下の通り。

“For our part, we are confident that medium-term price stability is the right objective for monetary policy. However, the Bank has been investigating the potential for macro-prudential policy tools to help support the traditional OCR instrument. The SOI shows we will continue this work,” . “As banking supervisors, we are engaging in global discussions on changes to the international bank supervision regime that will help to reduce the chances of future financial crises.” (銀行監督者として、我々は将来の金融危機の可能性を減じるために、国際的な金融監督体制を変革しようとする世界的な議論に参加している。)

Dr Bollard said that the domestic economic recovery continues and, as indicated in the recent Monetary Policy Statement, the Bank expects to continue unwinding the current degree of monetary policy stimulus. (ボラード博士は、最近の金融政策ステートメントが指し示すとおり、国内経済の回復が続いていることから、ニュージーランド準備銀行が引き続き金融政策による現在の緩和の度合いを解除してゆくことを見込んでいると発言した。)
